Embed music player anywhere!

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU SAY IT'S A MYSPACE TOS VIOLATION!
This code is useful for artists with more than one music page, who would like to embed their other players on their main page. If you choose to use this code to embed other people's players onto your page, in bulletins, etc., it's AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Now, on to the instructions.

1. Go to the artist's page with the player you want to embed.

2. Open the standalone player (click the little icon at the top right of the player). It should pop up in a new window.

3. The url in the address bar at the top of the page is what you're going to be working with. You'll be using the code below.

4. There's some fields you need to replace. Take a look at the url from the standalone player:
http://music.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music.popupplayer&sindex=-1.0&shuffle=false&amix=false&pmix=false&plid=12723&artid=10565417&profid=378286999&friendid=378286999&sseed=0&ptype=3&ap=1

5. The color highlighted parts are the parts you need to look at/replace in the code. If you look through the code, you'll notice you have to do this several times.

The parts to replace are: plid (player id), artid (artistid), profid (profile id).

The parts to look at to make sure they match are: ptype (player type) and ap.

Your url will look different from mine. Just copy and paste the appropriate numbers into their corresponding places (plid=ZZZZZ, artid=XXXXXXX, profid=YYYYYYYYY).

6. Once you are done, copy and paste the entire, filled in code wherever you want the player to show up.

Hey, I need a little help please, I mean, the code works and everything, the music plays and all, but when it plays, it doesnt show the 'playing now' liks the name of the song and band.
It shows the albums and songs, but not which one is playing, can you please help me out?

Hey.........Ive used this code alot. But how can i get a different Skin Id for the player? Ive tried skin overlays but they dont work on 2.0? Anyways please let me know. *peace -Matt
