@ the people pointing out you can just change your settings:
That is true, but this only hides the icon on your profile page.
If you change the settings, it will hide the icon AND your complete online status. Thus making it appear that you aren't online at all when your friends click on "View Online Friends."
you can hide it without the code.
-go to account setting
-go to privacy
-uncheck the "Show people when I'm online"

This also hides your friends's Online Now!
There is no need for a code to remove/hide online now..
all u have to do is go 2 account setting>>Privacy settings>>acnd check hide online now.
